AORUS 17X (2023)

Inspired by the sense of "Speed" and "Space Battleship" as the design keyword implies “beyond the limit and the speed of the earth.” The laser engraving and etching patterns on the cover and the keyboard side of the laptop are based on battleship. Moreover, the shape of the large exhaust vent at the bottom is inspired by the wings of warships, depicting the image of flying high.

AORUS 17 (2023)

The concise form is combined with neat cutting lines, showing the ingenuity in simplifying complexity, breaking away from the bold and exaggerated design of previous gaming products, and striving to create a sense of fashion trend. Taking the mysterious and spatial sense of AORUS annual theme "Black Hole Echo" as the main axis, the spatial sense of layering and the boundary dissociation of objects are used as an extended application in the design style, creating a series of style across all product lines from details to the overall appearance.

Taking the mysterious and spatial sense of AORUS Black Hole Echo as the main theme, the motherboard with a relatively flat shape creates a deep sense of layering and immersion, as a spatial design that breaks through the dimensional framework. Objects that cross the boundaries of spatial dimensions disintegrate and burst with energy, streaming throughout all the spaces of AORUS, thus connecting and interweaving the product identity image of various AORUS products.

This is the highest end product of the 570 line. From the beginning of the design phase, the comprehensive effects of elegance and pride are embedded. The lighting uses indirect halo to differ from the direct lighting used in previous generations of e-sports products, rendering a low-key yet domineering atmosphere.

The geometry matches the design focus of the image of pride and high-flying in the sky. The geometry of the top armor is created with the abstract image of the eagle to present the flying wings with the fading curve. The bottom PCH uses hidden lighting for the first time to indirectly illuminate the fading groove, resembling hyper-speed airflow. The full cover cooling is especially used for the entire product. That’s why most areas are covered with metal and restrictions are placed on processing, which is also one of the major challenges in this design.
